Connecting and Reflecting on the State of the World

March 29, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am CEST

A paradiGM Fundraiser for Refugees in Ukraine and Beyond

This event is open to everyone – Tuesday 29 March – 10AM CEST / 9AM BST

The news of the past several weeks has been distressing and overwhelming. Some of us are volunteering on the front lines, others are juggling matrixes of options for relocating employees and families to safety from afar, and still others are feeling stuck not knowing what to do or how to process it all.

Please join us as we come together for an open conversation to reflect on the state of the world today from a space of empathy and connection and work to raise funds both for refugees fleeing Ukraine and for other refugees needing urgent assistance. In keeping with paradiGM’s mission to be diverse and inclusive we are purposefully shifting the narrative to ensure that refugees elsewhere outside Europe are included and not forgotten.

This session is open to all and we hope that our paradiGM community will spread the word to get as many attendees as possible to contribute – we are suggesting that all attendees donate €10 (or whatever amount they are able to give) and we are seeking to have this matched by companies in the global mobility space to multiply the impact of our fundraising.

The connect and reflect/empathy-building portion of the session will be facilitated by paradiGM’s very own Rhea Narula and Mariana Rocha.

Our agenda will include:

·  Welcome + why we are here today – paradiGM Leadership team

·  Setting a safe space

·  Creative activities with the audience – concept of home

·  Conclude and reflect – how can feelings of empathy and connection for our homes to fuel support for refugees all over the world?
